ROQSTAR Ethernet Switches Enhance Connectivity in JCV’s EvoBus Vehicles in Riyadh
In a strategic collaboration, TRONTEQ has partnered with Juffali Commercial Vehicles (JCV), the sole agent and distributor of Mercedes-Benz trucks and buses in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the authorized distributor of Fuso trucks and buses. The aim of this partnership is to enhance the connectivity infrastructure of the Public Transport Company (PTC) in Riyadh, reflecting a commitment to seamless and secure public transport experiences.

Fleet: PTC manages a fleet of 600 buses (12m and 18m) manufactured by EvoBus, deployed for public transport operations in Riyadh.
Uninterrupted Data Transfer Under Challenging Operating Conditions
To enhance the connectivity across PTC’s diverse bus fleet, TRONTEQ provided JCV with 700 ROQSTAR 8-Port Unmanaged PoE Switches with M12 connectors. The switches play a crucial role in connecting the CCTV system with the recorder in the EvoBus vehicles, ensuring uninterrupted and efficient video data transfer. Compliant with the ITxPT standard, E-Mark standard (E1), and IBIS-IP specifications, these switches are engineered to deliver reliable performance in public transport, even when the operating conditions are challenging.
Network Switches Made for a Seamless Integration
The implementation of ROQSTAR Ethernet switches was marked by seamless integration, thanks to their plug-and-play functionality. With a robust operating temperature range of -40°C to +60°C and a weight of 750g, these switches demonstrated exceptional resilience, making them an ideal solution for PTC’s demanding operational environment.
